Rachel is Chief Executive of The Care Forum, a voluntary and community sector organisation specialising in health and social care working primarily across Bath and North east Somerset, Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. The Care Forum promotes health and wellbeing for all and challenges inequalities in health and social care policy and services. It provides consultation and engagement, information services and direct services to individuals via advocacy and social prescribing.
Rachel has worked in Higher Education, Local Government, Women’s Aid, the advice sector and the voluntary and community sector. Rachel likes working in partnership, believes collaboration across sectors is the best way to get results and is passionate about the value the voluntary and community sector brings to people’s lives.
